Ph.D., M.S. Clemson University
B.S. Grove City College
I joined the Davidson faculty in 2012 after completing both an M.S. and Ph.D. in mathematical sciences from Clemson University. I received my B.S. in mathematics secondary education from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
I am interested primarily in applicable algebra, especially applications to algebraic coding theory. I am also interested in analogues of algebraic curves arising from finite graphs. I strive to enhance a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses with interesting problems from my research.
In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, such as Dominion and Twilight Imperium.
