The Political Science Department offers courses and seminars that cover political theory, various aspects of the American political system, government and politics in foreign countries, and international relations.
Ten courses in political science, as follows:
- At least one course in each of the following (the same courses cannot count for two subfields):
- Political Theory
- American Politics
- Comparative Politics
- International Politics
- Seminar numbered 400-479
- A major paper (can be met by completing an honors thesis or by writing a 20 page paper in a seminar or independent study, but it is up to departmental approval)
