We are delighted you are planning to experience Davidson. A typical visit includes a campus tour and an information session. To get started, choose the date and time of your visit and schedule your tour and information session.
Davidson campus tours last 75 minutes and are led by current students. Our guides are energetic ambassadors trained to show you the college through their own experiences. They are honest about Davidson life and opportunities and are happy to answer your questions at all points along the way.
Tour routes will lead visitors through:
Our admission staff will help refine your understanding of the Davidson experience. You'll get better acquainted with admission policies, the college application process, and the Davidson Trust. You will select the Group Information Session or an Individual Information Session. Both types of sessions will give students and families a comprehensive sense of Davidson and all it offers.
The Group Information Sessions are best suited for prospective students visiting Davidson for the first time or for students just beginning the college search process. They cover a wide range of topics and are designed to give you a broad sense of the college. They are not standard PowerPoint-style presentations, but dynamic sessions tailored to the interests and concerns of each audience. You will be able to ask specific questions of the presenter and learn from the questions asked by other students and families. Most group information sessions will occur before your tour.

Individual information sessions occur after a campus tour. These sessions are best suited for prospective students making repeat visits to Davidson or for high school juniors or seniors with specific questions. Individual Information Sessions are tailored to each student. Families will have the opportunity to ask specific questions or voice sensitive concerns.
During the academic year, Individual Information Sessions are led by senior admission fellows: seniors at Davidson trained as adjunct admission counselors. Senior fellows know both the Davidson student experience and the admission process.
The availability of Individual Information Sessions is limited.
Please note that Davidson does not offer evaluative admission interviews.
