Whether you attended Davidson for a semester or eight, you are a wildcat and a valued member of our Alumni Association. As such, you have access to many alumni resources and benefits.
You can make the most of your alumni experience by ensuring that Davidson has your current contact information, including your mailing and email addresses. Without this information, we cannot send you important updates about campus news or alumni activities and events.
Whether you graduated one, five, 10, or 30 years ago, the Center for Career Development is available to support your career success. You have access to employment resources and can schedule an appointment to speak with a career adviser.
You can join our online community to find classmates and other Davidson alumni, update your address, manage your email preferences, and view your giving history and current event registrations.
The Davidson Career Advisor Network (DCAN) is a powerful online platform that facilitates career-related conversations among alumni, students, parents and business partners, as well as résumé critiques and mock interviews. As an alumnus or family member you may serve as an adviser and/or seek advice and support through this platform.
The college's LinkedIn group is a networking resource for alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff. Members also can view and post job openings targeting Davidson alumni and students within the group.
The college offers a series of Virtual Networking Hours that facilitate text-based alumni/family-to-alumni/family networking and alumni/family-to-student mentoring. You can join events from anywhere using a computer, smartphone, or tablet, and no audio or video is required.
Davidson alumni who graduated in 2014 or after now receive alumni email accounts. Your account can be accessed by using the Outlook desktop application, or going to outlook.davidson.edu and logging in with your username and password. Your username is the first part of your email address followed by your two digit class year (e.g., username##@alumni.davidson.edu). Joan Wildcat from the Class of 2015 would be jowildcat15@alumni.davidson.edu. Alumni email accounts have 50 gigabytes of storage. The college invites you back every five years for class reunions in June. And once you are a member of the Avant Garde (alumni who have already celebrated their 55th reunion or more), you are invited back annually to enjoy festivities on the Saturday of Reunion Weekend.
You, your family, and friends are invited to Homecoming weekend each fall, which features an alumni social, tailgate, football game, and student-alumni Fall Fling.
With help from our volunteers, the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement coordinates more than 100 regional events for our nearly 70 chapters across the country, including faculty and presidential visits, networking and athletic events.
Davidson provides unique travel opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends. Multiple trips are planned each year to locations within the U.S. and abroad, past trips include touring the fjords of Norway or visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. Each trip offers a unique, educational experience that is broader than your average group trip.
Open to rising high school juniors and seniors who are children and grandchildren of alumni, the McNab Program equips families with strategies for the college search and application process. Deans and directors of admission from other colleges and universities and seasoned college counselors from high schools and community-based organizations around the country provide one-to-one advising.
During the summer, you are welcome to stop by the Lake Campus from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m each day, from Memorial Day through the first weekend in August for a one-day visit when a guard is present at the gate entrance. As a limited-access facility, membership is required for more than a one-day visit. You may purchase an annual membership pass for $250, which allows you and your family to access the facility. For more information, and to apply for an annual pass, visit the Lake Campus website. In addition, you may purchase annual access to a dry ($300) or wet ($650) boat slip.

All U.S.-based alumni and current parents receive the Davidson Journal in the mail. This flagship magazine is published twice a year and includes feature stories, campus and athletics news, alumni news and class notes. If you do not live domestically, you can still enjoy the journal-the Davidson Journal online includes the print issue content as well as multimedia features such as videos and photo slideshows.
Alumni, families and friends receive the college's biweekly e-newsletter, which includes current news, events, and stories of interest to alumni and parents.
Get the latest from the college by following Davidson on social media. The Davidson Social Media Hub provides an engaging view across the college's social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, among others.
To learn of upcoming public events at the college, you can subscribe to the Davidson Events Digest, which is emailed weekly during the academic year and presents a 30-day view of events happening at the college.
Printed weekly and available online, The Davidsonian is the student-run newspaper and features articles and editorial on Davidson life, current events and athletics.
