Welcome Center Open

Check in with the Office of Alumni Relations to receive your registration materials and updated weekend schedule. Be sure to make this your first stop when you arrive on campus.

5:30-7 p.m.
Leadership and Loyalty Donor Reception
Front Lawn, President Quillen's House
Reunion alumni who are members of the Ne Ultra Society, the Fideles Society or the Maxwell Chambers Society are invited to attend this special reception. Invitations will be emailed to members of these societies. 

Beginning at 7 p.m.
Class Gatherings
Join your class to reconnect before the official start of the weekend. Location and time will be provided by your Reunion chairs.

Friday, June 5

Enjoy Breakfast at Davidson Restaurants
Head over to Summit Coffee on Main Street (128 S. Main St.), Summit Coffee on campus (Patterson Court), Toast Café (101 S. Main St.), The Egg at Davidson (231 Griffith St.), M&M Soda Shop (104 S. Main St.), Il Bosco (127 Depot St.) or Millstone Bake House and Provisions (208 S. Main St.) for your Reunion Weekend discount on a delicious breakfast! Be sure to show your name tag to receive the discount.

Back-to-School Classes
Recapture the heart of the Davidson College experience–time spent learning in the classroom! Get back to campus early to hear from fellow alumni faculty, community members and other Davidson notables on a wide variety of topics, in numerous formats, designed to reach the curiosity and interest of Reunion-goers across the ages. While a sampling of what back-to-school classes (PDF) you can look forward to is listed here. Please continue to check here regularly for more details and updates about offerings. Tours
Receive a guided tour of the Davidson campus or the Davidson Farm or learn about plant cultivation on campus with our horticulture tour. Various tours of campus will be offered throughout the day. Stop by to enjoy a boxed lunch in the shade or take it with you to an afternoon Back-to-School Class.

Shabbat Services
Temple Kol Tikvah, Davidson
Join Temple Kol Tikvah and the entire Lake Norman Jewish Community in Friday evening Shabbat services.

6-10 p.m.
All-Alumni Reunion Kick-Off Gathering
Alvarez College Union
Join most reunion classes, college faculty and staff to celebrate the weekend's festivities! Enjoy dinner and beverages with your classmates at this kick-off celebration featuring live music.

6-10 p.m.
Camp Reunion
Drop off TBD
A variety of activities will be provided for children and teenagers ages 4-16 throughout the night. Dinner will be served. Pre-registration is required.

Beginning at 6 p.m.
50th-60th Reunion Dinner
Individual class dinners will take place for those celebrating their 50th, 55th and 60th reunions. Join fellow class members at this special reception and dinner. Start times will vary by class. The final time and location of this cornerstone class event will be included in your weekend schedule at the Welcome Center and published on your class website.

Join in this family-friendly tradition for a 1.6-mile run around campus. Cakes will be awarded to the top runners!

A Conversation with President Carol Quillen
Duke Family Performance Hall, Knobloch Campus Center
Hear from Davidson's 18th president, Carol Quillen, about the current priorities and initiatives of Davidson's campaign, Game Changers: Inspiring Leaders to Transform the World. Engage in a time of question and answer following her remarks.

Noon-2 p.m.
All-Alumni Lunch and Lawn Party
Chambers Lawn
Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon eating lunch with classmates and having fun on the lawn. Family members will enjoy the activities, including bounce housesm snow cone machines, and games.

1-4 p.m.
Academic Building Visits 
Many classroom buildings and academic spaces will be open during this time for those who wish to visit. Additional information regarding which spaces will be open will be provided at the Welcome Center.

1-4 p.m.
Tours

Reunion Weekend Service Project
Chambers Lawn
Stop by the service tent on Chambers Lawn to help assemble activity bags and decorate cards for children visiting the Levine and Dickson Hospice Center in Huntersville.

2:30 p.m.
War Memorials Dedication 
Behind Elm Row, Near the Old Well
Join us as we dedicate new memorials on campus honoring deceased alumni veterans of World War I, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan. The new memorials were made possible by the fundraising efforts of the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi.

3-4 p.m.
Gay-Straight Alumni Network of Davidson (GSAND) Open House 
Lavender Lounge, Residence Life Office in Belk Residence Hall
Stop by to visit the new LGBTQ Resource Library and Lounge, affectionately known on campus as the Lavender Lounge, which opened in October 2014 to meet the needs of our growing LGBTQ student population.

3:30-4:30 p.m.
Alumni of Color Engagement (ACE) and Davidson Black Alumni Network (DBAN) Reception 
Multicultural House
Join alumni and other members of the Davidson campus community over coffee and tea to explore one of Davidson's newest multicultural spaces, and hear updates on current campus initiatives.
