Each year, the Alumni Association seeks nominations for several awards. Help nominate a worthy alumnus/a to receive an award or serve on the Alumni Association Board by sending an email or filling out the nomination form.
By volunteering with DART (Davidson Admissions Recruitment Team), act as a resource for prospective students throughout the application process by answering questions, hosting events for prospective students, representing Davidson at college fairs, and more.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors (AAB) serves as a liaison between alumni and our administration and staff to: provide input on alumni activities, such as Reunion, Homecoming, and the travel program; oversee chapter programming; and lead alumni in honoring the achievements of fellow alumni.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors began the Alumni of Color Engagement (ACE) initiative in 2008. ACE addresses and develops new channels and opportunities for connection between our alumni of color and the college to strengthen commitments and contributions to the life and success of the college.
The Davidson Black Alumni Network (DBAN) addresses the specific concerns of, and advocates for, Black students and alumni. With more than 600 members across the country, DBAN exists to support, inspire and engage Davidson College's Black students to each other and to the Davidson College Community.
The mission of the Gay-Straight Alumni Network of Davidson (GSAND) is to serve as a source of support, advocacy, visibility, and programming for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) alumni population of Davidson College.
