Internal Audit Fellow
The Internal Audit Department helps Habitat for Humanity manage the business risk and improve effectiveness of our ~1,600 worldwide organizations by providing independent, objective reviews of operational and financial activities. The Internal Audit Department (“IAD”) team is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of internal auditing, fraud investigation, business and operational processes, internal controls, and risk management.
The Internal Audit Fellow will be exercising their own business knowledge and critical thinking skills to help the team analyze and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Habitat operations. The role will provide opportunities to establish strong working relationships with cross-cultural Habitat colleagues, understand the complexities of the non-profit business environment, and perform analytical reviews in order to provide recommendations for improved controls and business efficiency. Through challenging and meaningful work, you will have the chance to gain valuable professional experience while giving back to your community and traveling to a range of US or international destinations.
