Issues in Religion and Science

An examination of several proposed models of the relations between religion and science (conflict, contrast, convergence, confirmation). Analysis of challenges that modern physical and biological science pose to traditional understandings of creation, redemption, and divine purpose.

Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies the Philosophical and Religious Perspectives distribution requirement.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies the Religion distribution requirement.


Prerequisites:

Not open to juniors or seniors until Drop/Add.
