How to Submit Articles for Library Staff to Post to Moodle

Please send a document to listing the articles that you would like posted to course reserves in Moodle.

Please be sure to include your name, the course title, and course number.

For each item on the list, you must also include:

  1. A complete bibliographic citation.

    For book chapters: author, title, place, publisher, date, pages.For journal articles: author, title, journal, volume, issue, year, pages.

  2. The persistent URL for the full text of the article

If the article isn't available full text, or if there isn't a persistent URL for it,

  • Make sure that you have permission to post copyrighted material.
  • Send an email message to to confirm that the article is covered by the Annual Copyright License or that your use of it is in compliance with copyright law.
  • Submit the article to the library:
    • Send a digital copy: PDF, Word or RTF file, to
    • Deliver a clean paper copy to the Circulation Office.
  • With either method, be sure there are no black edges on the copy and email the complete citation for each item to
