Here is an update on some of the great things our Arab Studies minors are doing.

  • Alex Taylor '13 - admitted to the MA program in Middle East Studies at Chicago University and Columbia University
  • Beau Clark '13 - hired to teach at the New Generation International School in Cairo 2013-14
  • Paul DiFiore '13 - hired as presidential intern at the University of Cairo 2013-14 academic year
  • Allie Francis '12 - Fulbright research fellowship for Jordan 2013-14 academic year
  • Joseph Sills '12 - awarded a CASA fellowship 2013-14 academic year; also awarded a Fulbright teaching fellowship in Jordan 2013-14 academic year
  • Anna Van Hollen '12 - Fulbright Fellowship for Arabic Studies in Egypt
  • Leslie Adkins '12 - Fulbright Fellowship for Arabic Studies in Egypt
  • Linda Flynn '12 - Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in Morocco
  • Joseph Sills '12 - Fulbright Fellowship (Alternate Status) to teach English in Jordan and CASA (Center for Arabic Studies Abroad) Fellowship (Alternate Status) 
  • Anna Van Hollen '12 - Smith Scholarship and Critical Language Study Fellowship from the U.S. State Department to study Arabic summer 2012
