The college is open and will operate as normal today. Employees are encouraged to use discretion in their commutes to campus.
Do you have good German and are interested in teaching your peers? Then we want you!
The German Studies Department relies on student assistant teachers (AT) to reinforce the work done in its language courses. ATs are expected to teach two 50-minute sessions per week. The hourly pay rate for ATs is higher than for any other student job—$9/$9.50/$10/$10.50, depending on experience—and we will pay you for up to one hour of preparation for every hour you teach.
Serving as an AT is one of the most rewarding student jobs on campus. In order to be considered, all candidates are required to complete the August 30-31 training workshop. Contact Prof. Henke if you have any questions.
We look forward to seeing you in the fall.
