Most items may be returned to the Davidson College Store for a refund within 10 days from the date of purchase and must be accompanied by a cash register sales receipt. Returned items must be in new and saleable condition. Product exchanges are considered the same as a refund.
Full refund/credit for course materials are given during the first week of the semester. Items purchased for courses that have been dropped may be returned until the end of the add/drop period. Textbooks purchased after the drop/add deadline may be returned within one business day from the date of purchase. Course materials are eligible for return only if they are in the same condition as originally purchased except in the case of a publisher defect. Refund requests must be accompanied by a cash register sales receipt and will be disbursed as tendered (cash for cash purchase, check for check purchase, credit for credit or CatCard purchase).
