Income Replacement

Davidson College wants to help employees plan for their financial futures. Our 403(b) Retirement Plan is comprised of two parts – Davidson College's contribution through a Defined Contribution Retirement Plan and a Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan which lets you put money aside from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis. Retirement funds may be invested through two different vendors, Fidelity and TIAA-CREF.

Employees who must be absent from work for an extended period of time due to a sickness or injury have income protection through college-paid Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability

Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Davidson provides College-Paid Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance for all full-time regular employees. Additionally, employees may opt for additional Supplemental Life and/or Voluntary AD&D for themselves and family members.

Long-Term Care

In addition to needing money at retirement, more people are looking at care options after retirement. Long-Term Care pays for covered expenses for care services received at home, in the community or in a nursing facility.
