Virtual Computing Lab

Davidson students and employees can access selected licensed software via the Internet from their personal or office computers in the Virtual Computing Lab.

Campus Computing Labs

Student Computing Center
Located in the basement of Belk residence hall.      

The Tomlinson Residence hall has a student computer lab on the 3rd floor. It is open 24/7 but CatCard access is required.

Information Technology Services maintains a student lab on the first floor (southeast corner) of the Library. Students have access to the facility whenever the Library is open.  

Knox, Irwin, and Akers
The Knox, Irwin, and Akers residence halls each have two student lab computers in their lobbies. They are available 24/7 but CatCard access is required.



Classrooms with Instructor-only Computing
Many classrooms across campus have instructor-only computers available for use.   

Chambers Computer Classroom
The Chambers Computer Classroom (Chambers 3130) functions as a classroom during the day and a public lab for students at night and on weekends.      

Genomics, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science Classroom
The Genomics, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Classroom (CHA 3146) is available to students who are taking courses in those areas.

Center for Instructional Technology
The CIT is a faculty-only space for instructional technology development and consulting. The space is supported by professional and student staff, but is open to faculty 24 hours, 7 days a week. Cat cards are required for access.    

Connolly Media Lab
This lab is equipped with video and audio editing workstations to support campus video projects.          

Union Computers
The Knobloch Campus Center offers a computer lab for students on the top floor and several computer kiosk stations throughout the facility.

ITS provides a few computers in the student laundry facility. This facility is open 24/7 but card access is required.
