Parent Programs Office

The Parent Programs Office works with non-alumni parents and families to encourage their philanthropic investment in Davidson and their active involvement in the life of the college. Parents support the college through The Parent Fund for Davidson and through capital and endowment gifts that fund facilities, scholarships, professorships and programmatic priorities. During the 2013 fiscal year, parents contributed almost $5.5 million to Davidson.

The Parent Fund for Davidson

Current parents, parents of alumni, and grandparents provide significant resources to the college through The Parent Fund for Davidson. Each year,  more than 1,000 donors to the fund directly impact the lives of our students by funding scholarships, technology initiatives, internships and fellowships, research initiatives, learning materials, athletic equipment and other resources. Last year, parents contributed $1.7 million in expendable funds to The Parent Fund for Davidson. Through the fund, parents can choose to support the following areas.
