Once a month, work with 10-12 fellow students on a service project with a local nonprofit organization. Each service project is student-led, and addresses a different social issue. After each service, you and your group members will discuss the experience over a meal.
February 8: Angels & Sparrows Soup Kitchen
Work with horticulture director to prepare gardens for spring planting.
February 22: Eliminate the Digital Divide (E2D) Initiative
Aid families in obtaining and setting up new technology in their homes. Spanish speaking abilities are a plus.
*Please note that this outing will conclude at 3:00pm.
March 29: Samaritan's Feet
Assist with daily shoe production and distribution – volunteers will also be asked to bring a monetary or shoe donation.
April 12: Carolina Raptor Center
Engage in trail and center maintenance while learning about their mission and the animals they help protect.
Register for a Service Saturday by the Wednesday before service day.
