No quarters needed. Davidson College offers laundry service for students at no additional charge.
If you prefer to wash your own clothes, you also have free access to the self-serve laundry room in Lula Bell Houston Laundry, as well as free washers and dryers located in Armfield, Ryburn, Tomlinson Hall, Akers, and New Hall (no quarters needed).
The Lula Bell laundry room has 16 washers and 16 dryers as well as two, large-capacity washers and dryers for large items like comforters. All machines are free, except for the two large-capacity machines that require quarters.
Laundry room access is through an entrance on the east side of the building (in the alley between the central laundry building and the building services facility). The room is equipped with wireless Internet and three computer stations, as well as a television, vending machines for food and detergent, and lounge furniture. You also can check the status of your load or the availability of machines online before heading over with your clothes.
Any clothing left in these laundry rooms will be collected weekly and will be held for a limited time before being donated to charity.
