Martin Court Apartment Complex is a residential area for upper-class students comprised of seven buildings with four and five person apartments housing up to 398 students. The complex provides students with a "transitional living" experience by creating procedures and living standards similar to what they will encounter after leaving Davidson. Residents are still students and must adhere to all college policies as outlined in Residence Life Policies and Procedures (PDF).
The complex is comprised of these buildings. Visit their pages for information on floorplans and amenties.
Students wishing to live on Martin Court must submit a four or five person apartment application by the application deadline, including those students who currently reside there. The application must include the full names of each student wishing to live in the apartment. Residence Life staff will total the applicants' lottery numbers and the groups of applicants with the lowest lottery number totals will get first choice of apartments. All-senior groups will be given priority over mixed-class groups in choosing apartments.
If two groups have the same lottery totals, the group with the lowest individual lottery number will select its apartment first.
Students will be assigned bedrooms according to their preferences in their application, and must notify the Residence Life staff of any room changes after assignments are posted.
