Carnegie Guest House
The Carnegie Guest House is a beautifully furnished retreat for campus guests. An early 20th-century structure, the house is situated near the campus entrance.
The entire house is equipped with guest wifi and each of its eight rooms feature a private bath, cablevision, and telephone.
We serve a complimentary breakfast daily from 8-9 a.m. Parking areas are adjacent to the Guest House. The Guest House is a smoke-free and pet-free facility.
We enjoy hosting guests of the college, parents, alumni, prospective students and many others visiting our campus. However, we are unable to reserve rooms for Wildcat Weekend, Commencement and Reunion Weekend.
Reservations
We ask that guests please make a reservation prior to their stay. Guests can also make reservations by phone or email at 704-894-2127 or carnegieguesthouse@davidson.edu on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Please Note: For arrivals after 5 p.m., the Carnegie Guest House has enhanced security protocols that require a special PIN number upon entry. Guests will receive the access PIN number via email a day or two prior to your arrival.
Guest House Directions
The Carnegie Guest House is conveniently located off North Main Street on the campus of Davidson College. The college is located a short distance from Interstate 85 and Interstate 77, exit 30. For GPS purposes, the address of the Carnegie Guest House is 101 Dormitory Drive, Davidson, NC 28035.
The Carnegie Guest House, completed in 1910, has served numerous purposes through its history including a library, a college union, a guest house, and through it all, a center of social activity for the entire college community.
