Jazz Ensemble & Symphony Orchestra: Play Ball!

Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, the possibility of localized flooding, and chances of a power loss, we have made the decision to POSTPONE the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra concert “Play Ball!.” In addition, the Concert on the Green that was originally scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled, but we have GREAT news. We have decided to combine the two events for this Saturday, September 28th in the Duke Family Performance Hall. At 6:30pm, the Jazz Ensemble will perform, followed by a brief intermission, then the Symphony Orchestra will perform their full concert at 7:30pm. This will allow our fantastic student musicians to present everything they’ve been preparing and will give YOU, our audience, a chance to experience it all! This event will not be ticketed and is free and open to the public, so grab an early dinner, grab a snack at the Davis Café in the Union between concerts, and enjoy an evening like no other! We are doing our best to share the word, but please feel free to tell your friends and neighbors. If you have any further questions, please contact Eric Keith (Director of Music Production and Promotion) at erkeith@davidson.edu. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe during the storm!
