I teach courses in macroeconomics and international trade. The focus of my research is macroeconomics, international economics, computational economics, and development economics.
Raised in India, I came to the U.S. for college and subsequently worked for Deloitte Touche and Thinkwell Corporation before beginning my career as an economics professor. I have an active research agenda and like to include a variety of peer-reviewed journal articles and popular press reports on contemporary macroeconomic issues to stimulate in-class discussions, to foster critical thinking, and open-minded analysis.
