Hear the Summer 2014 Mayo Vann Fellows present their experience at the Mayo Clinic in Biomedical Ethics Research. This research fellowship is available to currently enrolled students, however students who will graduate in May 2015 or earlier are not eligible to apply.
Opportunity for two Fellowships in biomedical ethics research will be available to Davidson College students at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, during the summer of 2015. Fellows will be selected through a competitive application process. The work of the Vann Fellows will be supervised by physician and research mentors within the Mayo Clinic Program in Professionalism and Ethics. The Fellowship award is $5,000 (minus taxes) for a minimum of 8 weeks and up to 10 weeks. From that stipend, students are responsible for their own travel, housing and meals.
Applications for the summer 2015 Fellowships are due the second week of January 2015 to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by hard copy to David Perry's office in Eumenean Hall. This opportunity is sponsored by the Vann Center for Ethics and as a result of a generous gift from Jim Vann '50 and Lee Stanton Vann.
