• International Festival at Davidson

Held annually, the International Festival is one of many international events sponsored by the Davidson International Association.

Get Involved

You can increase your knowledge and broaden the horizons of others by getting involved with the Dean Rusk Global Corps. This group is an integral part of the Dean Rusk International Studies Program and helps us increase campus awareness of international issues.

Global Corps plans international education and awareness programs on the Davidson campus. We work to enhance Dean Rusk programming through theme weeks, cultural events, tea time discussions, a breakfast lecture series, international photo contests and campus publications. The Corps receives annual funding from the Dean Rusk International Studies Program. We encourage other student organizations to co-sponsor events related to raising international awareness on campus.

The Toilet Paper is a monthly publication about international issues. Students contribute articles about international experiences that they have had or issues that concern them. The Toilet Paper is posted prominently in bathroom stalls across campus. Wanderlust is the annual travel writing magazine. International Experiences 101s are opportunities for students returning from abroad, or for students interested in a specific country, region or issue to share their interests and experiences with their fellow students.

The Dean Rusk Global Corps is for Davidson students who:

  • Want to help bring excellent speakers to campus
  • Enjoy writing about international issues
  • Desire to publicize international issues to the campus community

For more information contact Dean Rusk fellow Ivana Masimore, 704-894-2170.

In addition, the Dean Rusk Program coordinates Davidson's chapter of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for international scholars.
