Commitment to Affordability

While we are aware of financial circumstances during the admission process for international students, Davidson is committed to meeting 100 percent of the calculated financial need for those admitted, with the exception of recruited athletes, who are eligible for dedicated athletic funding.

The Alvarez Access Fund provides financial support to international students for career, curricular, and academic success, such as unpaid internships or class material fees.

Alvarez Guarantee

International students receiving financial aid are eligible for the Alvarez Guarantee Fund, which provides funding for two career experiences or programs that complement student coursework.

Then & Now: Bimal Shahi '25

An international student from Nepal, Bimal was one of three first-year students who documented their experiences as they became Davidson students.

Journey to Davidson. Bimal loved how the campus looked in photos, how safe it seemed, and was particularly impressed by the honor code—“honesty is something I really value.”
