Annual Fund Secures 60 Percent Alumni Participation for 11th Consecutive Year
Records continue to break at Davidson College. The Annual Fund reached 60 percent alumni participation for the 11th consecutive year during fiscal year 2013 which ended June 30.
"Annual Fund gifts make an immediate difference for Davidson students," said President Carol Quillen. "From academic enrichment and first-rate facilities to Division I athletics and research opportunities, the Davidson experience is dependent on alumni giving. I am grateful to every alumnus/a, parent and friend who chooses to invest in Davidson, and I thank you for your commitment to serving our students. We could not do what we do without you."
Davidson's exact participation rate and gift totals will be available in the coming days, when all gifts have been counted.
"What Davidson accomplishes through the Annual Fund would not be possible without the many volunteers who help to make our goals a reality," said Maria Tardugno Aldrich '03, director of the Annual Fund. "We offer special thanks to this past year's National Annual Fund chairs Bonnie Caulkins Revelle '77 and Joe Logan '77 and to the Parent Council chairs Scott and Elizabeth Corwin, parents of Harrison Corwin '13. Their leadership led us through another very successful year of fundraising."
