WYFF 4 News: Alumnus Ree Lightsey '12 Hits the Ice for USA Bobsled
Ree Lightsey '12 offers a southern perspective on bobsledding and his work with the U.S. bobsled national team in Lake Placid, N.Y. By strapping a go-pro camera onto his helmet, he shares a bobsledder's view as he runs along the ice, hops into the bobsled and zooms across the surprisingly bumpy track.
A South Carolina native, Lightsey had to adjust to New York temperatures when he moved there after graduation for a position on the U.S. bobsled development team. He is currently working as an EMT, applying to medical school, and cheering on the bobsled team as they compete in the Olympics.
