Davidson College Named Top Fulbright Producer—Again

February 25, 2025

The State Department has once again named Davidson College a top producer for the U.S. Student Program.

With its young alumni teaching and studying around the globe, this is the 12th year overall and 10th consecutive that the college has received Fulbright Student top producer recognition from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Last spring, nine Davidson applicants were named finalists in the 2024-2025 competition. Last month, an alternate was promoted to finalist status, bringing Davidson’s total to 10.

Grants from Fulbright, the nation’s flagship international exchange program, are funding their enrollment in graduate study and English teaching assistantships.

The current Fulbright recipients are among more than 400,000 accomplished students, artists, academics and professionals who’ve taught, studied and conducted research abroad through the Fulbright program since 1946.

The program’s intent is to bring bright minds together to share knowledge and ideas, build international good will and work together to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
