Background

As the Assistant Director of Science & Health at the Matthews Center for Career Development at Davidson College, I play an important role in guiding students through their professional development, particularly those pursuing careers in science and pre-health.

I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in biology and began my career at Harvard Medical School, where I conducted clinical research in neurology. I went on to earn a Master of Science in Public Health from the UNC Gillings School of Public Health, specializing in Health Policy & Administration.

Following graduate school, I was selected into the highly competitive Presidential Management Fellowship program, serving as an analyst in the White House and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where I focused on health policy issues. I then spent 15 years as a federal healthcare lobbyist advocating for New York hospitals.

Now, I am eager to bring my extensive experience to Davidson College, where I am dedicated to supporting students' career aspirations in public health and the sciences.
