Background

Having grown up in the local area, I am thrilled at the opportunity to continue diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts so close to home. I am a dog mom who loves playing pickleball and watching women’s basketball. I have a growing, yet limited, interest in plants and welcome any help from folx with a green thumb.

In my career, I am grateful to have worked with college students in almost all stages of matriculation including recruitment, enrollment, new student and family programs, residence life, and student activities. Previously, I served as the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment at Old Dominion University (ODU) where I made data-informed decisions that streamlined the enrollment process for transfer students. As an Admissions Counselor and Coach at ODU, I advocated for and implemented initiatives catered to first-generation high school students, as well as initiatives that uplifted marginalized communities. In these experiences, I have gathered many tools that I am eager to use to contribute to the Davidson College community.
