I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Davidson College. My research focuses on Health Economics and Applied Econometrics. I use innovative econometric methods to explore how public policies impact people's health and well-being. My specific areas of study include impact evaluation, measurement error models, the economics of obesity, and food and nutrition programs.
I teach introductory economics, health economics and the safety net, and econometrics. Before joining Davidson College, I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and worked at Tulane University. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University, an MA in Economics from the University of Akron, and a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana
