Named for the cutest dog whose picture is hung proudly when you walk in, it's a great place for Texas-style BBQ staples! On Davidson’s cozy main street I am a sucker for a coffee and sweet treat at Summit.

Hidden Talent: I pick up song lyrics instantly! I hear the chorus once, and I've got it down. I'd be a knock-out at karaoke if only I could hold a tune.

How to Spend Spare Afternoon in Charlotte Area: I am a self-proclaimed outside-y (not to be confused with outdoorsy) person, so I love an easy walk with beautiful scenery. Depending on the ratio of walking to sipping on drinks I'm in the mood for I could go Rosie's Coffee and Wine Garden near NoDa or a long walk around Reedy Creek Nature Preserve Trail. I just moved here so I am excited for more discoveries as I settle in.
