Jennifer Johnston

I am grateful to be a part of the counseling team at Davidson as a graduate intern, pursuing a master’s in counseling from Wake Forest University. Having worked with college students in various capacities, from professional recruitment to academic tutoring - most recently completing my practicum at WFU’s career center -I am drawn to walk alongside this remarkable population. During their time of exciting and intense transition, I hope to help students navigate changes and choices, as well as realize their mental wellness goals. With a foundation in person-centered engagement, I’m eager to share with students such therapeutic approaches as solution-focused, narrative, Adlerian, and mindfulness.
