Beverly Smith Hance Clinical Case Manager
Education

Background
As a Clinical Case Manager, I work to provide a space for students to communicate their needs while supporting them in connecting to the best resources and supports available. I have a collaborative approach and enjoy working with both on-campus and off-campus providers to ensure students receive quality care that addresses their needs in a holistic manner. My professional background includes sexual violence work in a non-profit setting, and work supporting students and families experiencing mental health, physical well-being, and academic concerns within a university setting. My approach is informed by the Social Work Code of Ethics which emphasizes service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate (LCSWA) in the state of North Carolina and consider myself a life-long student, always seeking to build on my current knowledge while growing and learning about new areas of practice.
Position made possible by the generous support from the Hance Family.
