Background
My journey at Davidson began in January of 2025 as the Assistant Dean of Students & Director of Residence Life. Prior to Davidson, I was the Associate Director for Residence at UNC Greensboro. I have been working in Housing and Residence Life for most of my professional career. I believe the work we do in Housing and Residence Life is essential to the success of our student in and outside of the classroom.
I am an active member within my professional organizations; currently serving as the Co-Director for ACPA’s Institute on the Curricular Approach, and a trustee for the Association of College and University Housing Officers -International (ACUHO-I) Foundation board as the Vice-Chair for Individual Outreach & Giving. I contribute scholarship and knowledge to my profession by presenting on the areas of recruitment and retention of staff, the curricular approach, self-actualization, and organizational leadership and development.
A fun fact about me is that I am a second degree black belt in Taekwondo!
