Background
I’m interested in metaphysics, free will, moral responsibility, and the philosophy of action.
I am the author of Free Will: The Basics. 2nd Edition (Routledge, 2022) and co-editor, with Kevin Timpe and Neil Levy, of the Routledge Companion to Free Will (Routledge, 2017).
My current research focuses on the role that narrative capacities play in the development of morally responsible agency.
Some recent courses I’ve taught are Metaphysics, Freedom and Responsibility, Existentialism, and Medieval Philosophy.
