Education
- M.S., B.A., Queens University of Charlotte
Background
In my role at Davidson, I lead the Freedom Schools summer enrichment program, providing a transformative learning experience for scholars while fostering leadership development in college-aged servant leaders. I also advise the Community Service Federal Work Study program, connecting students with opportunities to engage meaningfully with local nonprofit partners.
Prior to joining Davidson, I served as the Associate Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement at Queens University of Charlotte, where I led diversity initiatives, mentored underrepresented students, and designed culturally impactful programming. My earlier roles include working in the Admissions Office at Queens, where I supported Spanish-speaking families in navigating the college admissions process and ensuring a smooth transition to higher education.
I hold a Master of Science in Talent and Organizational Development, with a concentration in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Queens University of Charlotte. Fluent in Spanish, I am committed to creating inclusive and accessible environments for diverse student populations.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our energetic puppy, Canela. I also love singing, dancing, and building intricate Lego creations.
