Photo Gallery: Alumni Explore Profound Beauty of Iceland

June 28, 2017

Iceland: a surprising, even astonishing, land that is home to just 300,000 people. With its abundant wildlife, massive glaciers and rumbling volcanoes, the country has become an increasingly popular tourist destination.

Davidson alumni travelers joined Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Wendy Raymond for an exploration of Iceland's natural and cultural wonders–from the edge of Europe's largest waterfall to the journey's conclusion in Reykjavik, a lively urban center with museums, restaurants and shopping.

The beauty of the country comes alive in this photo slideshow.
