A Year of War: Ukrainian Students, Refugees Will Not Face Anniversary Alone

The Davidson College community rallied to provide crucial support to Ukrainian refugees in the year since Russia invaded their country. Davidson’s class of 2026 includes two Ukrainian students whose lives were upended by Russia’s attack. On Feb. 24, the college will host an event to commemorate the anniversary of the invasion and raise money for urgently needed medical supplies.
