Davidson continues to create spaces that encourage digital learning and collaboration.
While most digital studies courses take place in Studio D or in the library basement digital classroom, our students also take advantage of co-curricular and learning opportunities in the campus makerspace and learning resources center.
Studio M
Studio M is Davidson's makerspace, a community-oriented workspace designed to encourage collaboration between people with common interests. With 3D printers, laser engravers, VR simulators, vinyl cutters, shirt presses, and various other tools available for all students and staff to use, it’s easy to find something that will spark your creativity! Whatever project you may have in mind, we can help you develop it. Everything starts with a visit.

VAC 212
VAC 212 is a digital studio located in the Visual Arts Center, featuring a dozen Macs with the Adobe Creative Suite, 14 WACOM tablets, and more. The digital studio is open to all current Art, Art History, and Film, Media, and Digital Studies students, except when occupied by a class. See the schedule on the VAC 212 website for more details.
