References for Former Employees

To ensure a uniform, coordinated response, please forward to a Human Resources staff member all inquiries regarding former employees by calling 704-894-2213. The response of the Human Resources Office to an outside request for employment verification is restricted to the release of the employee's name, employment dates and job title except in instances when further information is required to be divulged by law or by the audit provisions of an applicable contract or grant. Additional information, including salary information, can be released only with the employee's written authorization.
