from first-year students to tenured professors.

Our tutors come highly recommended by professors for their subject mastery and maturity. Once hired, tutors are trained to recognize learning styles and tailor strategies to meet the needs of students. Tutoring is provided free of charge in all subjects, from math and science to psychology and foreign languages.

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides English writing support to students from diverse language backgrounds. Using a mainstreaming-plus-support model, students are encouraged to seek writing support from their professors, peer tutors, and the multilingual student specialist, whether or not they are struggling in a course.
