Did You Know Your Address Changed?
Beginning last summer 2023, the college moved to a unified address system. This change affects all employees and students.
Our Campus Post Office, located in Knobloch Campus Center, serves our students, faculty and staff with a variety of mailing and shipping services.
Hours of Operation & Holiday Closings
The Post Office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. We're closed Saturday and Sunday.
The post office is closed Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Day and the week after (when the college is closed), New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President's Day, Easter Monday, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
Package pick-up is available on these holidays, if the college is open.
Whether you are a family member looking to ship a package to a student or Davidson employee, it's important to use the correct mailing address. Follow this guide to ensure that your mail gets to its final destination.
Mailing Deadlines
Packages must be processed at our Campus Post Office by the following times:
- FedEx Express - 2 p.m.
- FedEx Ground - 2:30 p.m.
- UPS - 3:30 p.m.
- USPS - 3:45 p.m.
Products & Services
- USPS Shipping options (Media, Ground Advantage, Priority, etc.)
- Stamp purchases
- Money Orders are no longer available on campus, but can be purchased at the Town of Davidson Post Office
(99 Jackson St, Davidson, NC 28036). - Guidance on domestic mailings
- Shipping via UPS and Federal Express
- Shipping via UPS for drop-off packages with prepaid labels only
Forms of Payment
All major credit/debit cards, checks made payable to Postmaster, and cash are accepted.
When using the tracker provided by your carrier, please be allow an additional 24-48 hours for the package to get to the Campus Post Office from the local post office or shipping center.
Students
- Students may pick up all packages, including USPS Express packages, at the Campus Post Office window.
Faculty and Staff
- The USPS delivers packages to the Campus Post Office where faculty and staff may pick them up. Our staff also delivers packages to faculty and staff served by the campus mail route.
- UPS and Fedex deliver to the campus warehouse. Physical Plant staff delivers those packages to individual offices.
