Registrar
The Registrar's Office maintains the permanent academic records of all students. The office acts for the faculty in coordinating activities including course registration, maintenance and protection of academic records, and certification of students for continued enrollment and graduation.
Important Message
While the Registrar's Office will continue to accept paper forms (with any email "signatures" printed out), we would like to request that forms (and emails containing "signatures") be submitted via email to registrar@davidson.edu. Current students do not need to physically sign forms if they are sent from their Davidson email accounts.
We maintain, interpret, and monitor academic policy and communicate procedures to faculty, students, and the college's various publics. We are dedicated to support for academic advising, course planning and assisting students planning off-campus study.
In carrying out its functions, we maintain a comprehensive database of student academic and demographic information. We also certify student enrollment and academic eligibility to various agencies including the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the National Student Clearinghouse, and provide alumni verification of degrees awarded.
WebTree is the software used by Davidson students to enter course preferences. It is a student-designed initial course registration process that allows for each student to obtain one course before any student gets a second course.
