Plan a Visit

Visiting our campus is the best way to discover Davidson. You can walk the brick pathways with current students, eat a meal on campus, attend classes, gain a better understanding of our academic and extracurricular opportunities, talk with faculty, and just explore.

Use our online form to schedule a visit. If you have trouble with the request form, or would like to schedule your visit by phone instead, contact Jan Tevepaugh at or 704-894-2702.

Please give our staff as much time as possible to schedule your visit. We will make every effort to accommodate the date and time you request.

Tours & Information Sessions

In addition to your tour, you are able to meet our admission staff to refine your understanding of the Davidson experience. You'll get better acquainted with admission policies, the college application process, and the Davidson Trust.

Senior-to-Senior sessions are available for high school seniors who are considering applying or have applied to Davidson. These sessions are tailored to each student allowing students to ask specific questions or voice sensitive concerns. During the academic year, Senior-to-Senior sessions are led by Senior Admission Fellows-Davidson seniors who are trained as adjunct admission counselors. Senior Fellows know both the Davidson student experience and the admission process. Available times for Senior to Senior sessions are limited. Registration will open mid- to late-August.

Group Visits

Traveling with a large number (maximum of 35) of students? We welcome upper high school students (juniors and seniors) and community-based organizations to visit campus as a group. Group visits include a 30-minute information session and a 75-minute campus tour, and are available by appointment most weekdays from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required. For more information please email our Visit Coordinator, Michele Trovato, at

Observe a Class

A great way to get a true sense of student life is to experience a Davidson class. From late September through early April, faculty have opened some of their classes for prospective students (open only to high school juniors and seniors) to observe. Please email Michele Trovato at and provide the date of your visit, several disciplines that pique your interest and time frame for class observation (morning or afternoon).

Senior Overnight

High school seniors can take a look at Davidson life outside of academic and business hours during an overnight experience. Registration for an overnight visit is separate from the tour and information session.

Open House Programs

Davidson hosts various Open House Programs for high school juniors and seniors who want to get to know us better. Registration for our open house options is separate and the dates are pre-determined.
