Davidson Volunteer Month
Davidson students and alums are steeped in a statement of purpose that cites leading lives of leadership and service as a primary goal. This commitment to service is evident in initiatives led by volunteers like the Class of 1968 and Davidson Serves for Life among others.
Following in this commitment, this year’s Davidson Volunteer Month kicks off on April 1 and ends on April 30. During the month of April, alumni, families and friends across the country will serve their communities around issues of hunger, homelessness, environmental sustainability and more.
Help is needed nationwide and in our own backyards, and we believe that if any group of people can make a disproportionate impact for good in the world, it’s you. If you're looking for a way to volunteer with other local Wildcats, check out the list of regional service projects taking place below. Don’t see your local area listed? We have compiled a starter list of national and regional volunteer opportunities.
Please email alumnievents@davidson.edu to add other ideas as you learn of opportunities in your area or more broadly.
