LAND Leadership
This dynamic team brings a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to guide the next chapter of the Latinx Alumni Network at Davidson (LAND). Their collective vision aligns seamlessly with our commitment to connect and support Latinx alumni and serve as a resource for current students.

Gonzalo Sanchez-Slik ’11
LAND Co-Chair
Gonzalo enjoys learning about real estate and land development; from following market news to networking with different key stakeholders. He currently lives in Miami, where he enjoys checking out the latest art scenes, attending festivals, and trying new restaurants. Gonzalo is excited to serve as the co-chair of LAND because he loves giving back to Davidson College and hopes to help current students make the jump into the professional market. He sees the incredible opportunity to build a foundation for an exciting and long-lasting alumni group whose influence will carry on to many different classes into the future.

Anna-Marie Scoccimaro ’16
LAND Co-Chair
While at Davidson, Anna Marie was an Executive Board member at Rusk Eating House and a member of the Davidson Herpetology Lab. She is now a landscape architect and settled back in Davidson. Anna Marie decided to get more involved with LAND after moving back to Davidson from Houston. She missed the Latinx influence of the city and wanted to find as many opportunities as possible to give back to the Latinx community both on campus and off.

Lilliana Sandoval '23
Communications Chair
As an undergrad, Lilliana served on the executive board for OLAS as the Social Cultural Chair in 2020-2021 and the Secretary in 2021-2022. She also crossed Fall 2021 into the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. She is now an Environmental Specialist for Mecklenburg County, working on communications, education and outreach for the Air Quality Department. She hopes to connect the Latinx students on campus to different opportunities post grad or serve as a resource. She is interested in helping spread the word about what LAND is doing, connecting with students and building interest among alums.

Joselin Serpas '23
Student-Alumni Liaison
While at Davidson, Joselin served as the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) Ambassador on the PCC E-Board, a proud member of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/ Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc., and Co-President of Cornelius Elementary ESL Tutoring (CEESLT). She also helped plan and execute Davidson's first Latinx Graduation, creating a meaningful celebration for the Latinx community at Davidson. Since graduating, Joselin has returned to Davidson as the Health Education Fellow, where she continues to support students. In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts and exploring the best Latinx food spots in the Charlotte area. As a first-generation Latina at Davidson, finding a community that embraced all aspects of her identity was crucial to her success. She is passionate about helping current Davidson students discover their own supportive communities and fostering relationships that last, both during their time at Davidson and as alumni.
