Outdoor Odyssey

About Outdoor Odyssey

Outdoor Odyssey is open to any first-year or transfer student and will use outdoor activities such as canoeing, camping, and backpacking to build community for new students.

Upper-division trip leaders support your group on basic skills as you work together to build relationships and share significant experiences.

Participation is open to any skill level. Wonderful and patient DO Trip Leaders will help you learn all of the skills you need.

Outdoor Odyssey Summer 2025 Session Dates

Session 1: July 15-21, 2025

Session 2: July 29- August 4, 2025

Session 3: August 12-18, 2025

Fees & Financial Aid

Although there is a cost to the Outdoor Odyssey program, we offer financial aid for the cost of the program and travel to attend. Any incoming student receiving financial aid to attend Davidson can receive aid for Outdoor Odyssey.
