Welcome, new Wildcat parents and families! We've gathered resources and planned programming to help orient you and your student as you enter the Davidson College community. 

Summer Welcome Events

Between your student's enrollment and before move-in, we offer virtual and in-person events for incoming parents and families. During these Summer Send-Offs and Virtual Wildcat Welcomes, you'll meet fellow incoming Davidson parents, families and mentors, while also kicking off your family's Davidson journey.

First-Generation Student Support

At Davidson, a student identifies as a first-generation college student if neither parent/legal guardian graduated from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree or equivalent. We have compiled resources available to help them navigate life at Davidson.

Family Orientation

Families are invited to join our community during New Student Orientation. You'll have the chance to connect with your student's holistic advisor, socialize with other new parents and families and learn about important resources at Davidson.
