Suggest a Purchase
Books & Videos
We strive to build a vibrant collection based around curricular needs and research interests of our students and faculty. If you have suggestions for items that would contribute to a relevant and well-rounded collection, we encourage you to suggest a purchase.
The library will prioritize eBooks over print when multi-user options are available.
If you have questions, please contact Kelsey Nation, Acquisitions and Collection Specialist, at acquisitions@davidson.edu.
Journals & Databases
To request a new journal subscription or enquire about getting a new database, please contact Kelly Denzer at kedenzer@davidson.edu.
The library is happy to gather information, negotiate prices, set up trials, and explore options with you.
Faculty Publications
Have you recently published a book or chapter within a book? Please complete the faculty books and monographs form to share your publishing accomplishments with the library. We will gladly accept or purchase a copy to add to the library’s collection, and showcase print copies in our “Faculty Books and Monographs” display.
Turnaround Time for Requests
Turnaround time for requests may vary. Please give up to four weeks notice for any purchases or journal/database requests
