Sloan Performing Arts Scholarship
The Perry A. and Lillie Duke Clements Sloan Scholarship is offered to two students demonstrating outstanding talent and promise in the performing arts.
The award was established through the estate of Perry A. Sloan and Lillie Duke Clements Sloan. The scholarship is valued at $30,000 annually and awarded to two students in each first-year class. The scholarship is renewable for each of the recipient's remaining three years at Davidson, provided GPA and progress toward degree requirements are met.
Recipients are not required to major in dance, music, or theatre.
In addition to the application for admission, you must submit the Arts Portfolio Interest Form and a portfolio of your work in dance, music, or theatre.
Deadlines
The Arts Portfolio Interest Form and your portfolio are due no later than your selected application plan deadline.
